Lemna was founded in 1983 to market a patented, environmentally
responsible and economical wastewater treatment technology. The easily
installed, competitively priced, low maintenance technologies that Lemna
pioneered had obvious applications in developing countries and Lemna
soon realized the tremendous potential of this growing international
market. What began as a means of bringing Lemna’s own proprietary
technology to serve new markets, quickly evolved into a unique company
with strengths far beyond that of a technology provider. Through its
success in diverse and challenging markets Lemna acquired the expertise to develop,
design, finance, implement and manage projects of all types in emerging
economies throughout the world. Since 1983, Lemna has completed more
than 300 infrastructure projects in 16 countries. Currently, Lemna is
active in more than 25 countries serving as developer, implementer
and financier of projects worth several billion USD of construction.
Lemna parlayed its ability to find successful solutions to client’s
needs—regardless of the location or project type—into a multi-national,
multimillion-dollar business with a worldwide presence. In 1995, through
the incorporation of Lemna International, Lemna made official its
growing international presence and, since that time, has grown
exponentially into new markets and new sectors.

“Because our
projects are complex and can take many years to finish, we emphasize
flexibility, quality and discretion. We only consider a project
successful if our clients remain our friends and advocates many years
after the project is completed.”
—Viet Ngo, President and CEO
Viet Ngo, Lemna’s founder, CEO, came to the United States from Viet
Nam as an 18-year-old student of art and engineering.
His unique
background and character have fostered a corporate culture that has

company that is nimble,
creative and committed to achieving results.
“We select our projects and clients carefully to optimize our success.
Above all, the friendship of those we serve is the foundation of our
progress. By protecting their interests and welfare, we enrich our own.” |
